I know there are about 1000 threads just like mine above. That is, a Jubber is going to tell someone that they are gay...but you never find out what happened.

Well... I wimped out in March....and felt like a jerk. So we got together again this past weekend and after two martinis....I told him. He said "Oh....so we are going to tell secrets this weekend....I was keeping mine until tomorrow night!" Long story short....his reaction was just perfect. It literally couldn't have been any easier or gone any better...|

Thanks all!!

Great! I am glad it went so well. If it is not divulging confidences too much, what was his secret?

It's amazing how we don't think we have gaydar (or LGBT-dar), and yet so many gay guys end up with friends & acquaintances that are LGBT.

We must sense--and revel in--our differentness.

^^^Many gay men and women pursue social activities that involve other gay men and women, which is how these specific people end up having so many homosexual friends and acquaintances. It's not due to some special sixth sense that is thought to be possessed by homosexuals.

Wait, wait, wait...he isn't gay!

It was about his.....sorry can't say!

But it made my announcement seem insignificant!!!!

Sorry again (I feel like a tease, but am actually loyal)

Maybe it's just closeted people. But after I came out (20+ years after high school), I found many of my "straight" friends were no straighter than I was. We seemed to find each other, even though we all said we were straight. I just found that very interesting.
