I have been having pain in my urethra this week its mostly towards the head but it hurts over the whole length of my penis. The only thing i can think of is about 10 days ago i jerked but didn't cum for 2 days in a row cause i was saving it up so i would get to wehre i would almost cum and stop do u think that is why i'm in pain now?
 
If you have not had sex with anyone that would rule out chlamydia and gonnherea. You may have stroked the head too much and have an infection in the end. You could also be allergic to lube if you were using any. I know I can't leave the silicon types on for any time because they make me sore as hell.

You might want to have it checked if you had sex with someone as it could be an STD. They will take a swab and if you do...it is a shot and four to seven days of antibiotic pills (it's been a while since I helped at the men's clinic and can't remember if it was a four or seven day pill prescription).

It could just be an infection in the urethra or it could be sore because you are masturbating too much. But if it has been 10 days since you did...that would not seem like too much.
 
A week is too long to wait with an infection before seeing your doctor; you risk a build up of scar tissue in the urethra.
 
There's always the possibility of a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

no theres no discharge, and i haven't used lube, um is a (uti) common for guys?
 
by the way its not like pain its kind of like i just feel it, very little pain, but its constant if anyone knows what that means
 
Urinary tract infections are quite common and you don't have to have had sex to get them.

You should go see your doctor and have a urinalysis and swab test done.
 
probably a urethritis go get it checked out - gonnorhoea , chlamydia , ureaplasma etc . . . all causes
 
hey-sorry to hear about the pain. i would go to a dr. ASAP. it could be a kidney infection, bladder infection, infection in the urethra and even the start of a prostate infection. even if it is an std, stop it now before it enters additonal organs or creates permanent scar tissue in your urethra. they will ask for a sample of your urine and perhaps a swab from the end of your cock. my Dr. gets the results in about 15 minutes and you will most likely get a antibiotic shot and antibiotic pills to treat the infection or condition. do be afraid. it is not worth the pain or worry. I would put money on a UTI... Is anyone in your family prone to urinary tract infections? Guess it doesn't matter... if it IS a UTI, a dose of antibiotics and lots of water (I know, I know... the last thing a guy wants to do when it hurts to pee is drink a lot of water, but it's for the best!!!) and you'll be peeing freely again without grimacing.

The best advice (and others have already given it) is don't put off a visit to your doctor! These things can turn ugly in a hurry, and cause long-term effects.
 
hey guys thanks, i went to the dr and it was my prostate, it was infected antibiotics and i'll be fine in a week or two, he said it was not from sex just bacteria infection and it is actually quite common???

UTIs and prostatitis are very common.

Prostatitis takes a while to clear up- it may take 10-14 days of antibiotics. Warm baths will also help.

One thing that helps with prostatitis is to get into a regular pattern of sex. The prostate likes consistency. So, you would do well to get into a regular pattern of masturbating every day or every other day. Ejaculating on a regular, consistent basis seems to reduce the incidence of prostatitis.
