What? Me? Really?
I don't have a dog in the fight, nor feel the need to defend Aldrin, but I do believe fighter pilots, test pilots, and military heroes are a specific breed, and the demands of those tasks attract very high strung men.
I've known some real assholes in aerospace, but I give them their due. They know their shit, and suffer fools lightly because they have that luxury. Most of us have no choice but to accept the dregs that are foisted upon us in jobs.
