The link between modern life and autism cannot be ignored. America has a much higher rate of all kinds of disease because of 'advances'. To dismiss vaccines automatically is dishonesty.

Statistics are hard numbers, unbiased and undeniable. But when a person makes a story to explain them, it's always biased and imperfect. The story is usually something used to prove a point or sensationalist to grab people's attention.

My sister has wrote this to the government.
So what causes chronic eczema (which is an autoimmune disease) ?

Dear Minister,

We rarely write about government policy but this one really gets to us and we hope that you will look at this issue seriously and listen to both sides.

We have a 2 year old who was fully vaccinated up until 1 year old. We later decided to not further vaccinate him because we believe more vaccines may further harm him due to his chronic eczema (which is an autoimmune disease) from birth.

We are very disappointed at the policy announced by Mr Abbott not long ago of "No Jab No Pay". We believe the government had over-stepped their role by coercing parents to do something they may not want to do. This policy penalizes parents who have a genuine concern about vaccine safety & effectiveness. We have spent many months & some parents, even years researching the medical literature and have decided it should not be for our kids.

The real reason why most people vaccinate their kids is because they have no idea about the risks and they just follow the herd (via their GPs). We too had never questioned vaccines until we looked into our son’s eczema and learned that vaccines are not free from serious side effects and may even cause more harm for our son.

We respect parents who still choose to vaccinate if they have done their research, and we ask the government to respect our decisions too and not be penalized for making this choice.

We are responsible citizens and we too pay our fair share of taxes, so why should we be penalized for making such decisions for our kids? This is grossly unfair to us parents and also to our kids!

We can write for hours about vaccines but regardless of your belief, we think it is a fundamental error for governments to coerce and penalize parents for not giving vaccines to their kids that are NOT FREE FROM SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS! No amount of compensation is enough for kids who are seriously injured by these vaccines! Who can put a price on life and opportunity lost?
