Thanks. I love Pansy Division. I haven't listened to a lot of them but I remembered my friend gave me a CD of their stuff so I just looked on my iPod and there's that song. Who knew I had it right here.

Oh well cool. It's probably "The Essential Pansy Division" CD. They have some other good ones too. I really like the "Pile Up" CD because it has a few covers and some really funny tracks too. I love the "Smells Like Queer Spirit" cover.
They are actually doing a tour right now for their new book. I missed my chance to see them a few weeks ago though
Even though I missed the book signing I'd much rather see them play in concert. They also have a new CD out called "That's So Gay". You should definitely check it out.
But yeah I diddn't know that people actually knew about them. I think there is only like one other person on this site who knows of them. Well I guess 3 now

I saw them play at the Eagle. It was awesome. There's not a whole lot of room to stand in front of the stage so it was easy to get real close by getting their early. They are amazing.
Splatter, I'd love to learn more queercore bands but I never know where to start. Any bands you can reconnect?

One thing you can do Don Don is wikipedia "Queercore" and it lists some bands like Pansy Division. I am kinda curious to other bands out there too. But it's kind of a pain when you find out about a new band and you just have to find their CD and listen to more of them. Music can be an addiction sometimes.

Don't know why I never thought to do that. LOL! That's one thing I love about LA is that in some places a band comes to town and you go wait in line and it's a huge deal to see them, but in LA sometimes you luck out and they just sort of appear in a small club or play a pride festival. It's great.
