Previous featured performers over the years included Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Cher, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Chaka Khan, Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson, Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks and numerous others have graced the “VH1 Divas” stage.

“VH1 Divas” is executive produced by Greg Sills for Chloe Productions and Lee Rolontz, Rick Krim for VH1.

Waaay too many add-ons...The show is only 2hrs..Everybody must get to sing 1 song and that's it...

The New Crop that was added on the 8th is in addition to the crop they added last week...

I Love 99% of all the acts this year but the over-crowding means the Artists can only give you a taste..I'd prefer a small group of performers singing sveral songs along with Duets.

They need to go ahead and do a Tribute Show to Whitney..

A Tribute show to Whitney or Anita Baker would have been ENOUGH...

Very rare that we get to see Sharon Jones & the Dapp Kings perform @ a High-profile Gig. So I am looking forward to seeing them...They're paying Tribute to "Amy Whinehouse" performing a song called " I aint no Good"....

LOL @ that old woman singing and getting down to Amy Winehouse's "I Cheated Myself".

And wtf invited Florence to this? I like her at times but her vibrato and voice is so damn goaty. Could have definitely done without seeing her on here..

That Philly Tribute with Eryka Badu & Jill Scott was terrible. Ugh..

You can tell nobody with real talent for producing a musical spectacle still works at VH1 because they have no clue how to put a musical show together that has some sort of flow and excitement!
They have all this talent and so far they've waisted all this time with no real momentum building. Boyz 2 men sounded nice. The setting the introductions, the lack of continuity with any artist having a set or something that connects with an audience are some of the key factors missing from this show. And that Amy tribute was just a debacle!

The performances were disappointing and even the clothes were awful.

This Years Special was pretty Good...

Chaka was about to take-off in the beginning of the show. Rare to see her perform like that...

Jessi J. (Whoever she is) gave Jennifer Hudson a run for her money...The Chick can sang...

What in the Hell was Mary J. singing? I know 'Wrong" is her new single but that shit was nothing but a Bunch of FUSS...Why did "The Queen" choose a "B-track" for an "A-List" show?

Florence did pretty good. She was holding back with the "covers" but I'm starting to dig her..

Why Ledisi been holding back on showing those Thick-Sexy Legs? She's got Beautiful Legs and she can Sang..

Whoever is Producing Kelly Clarkson's albums always produces a radio hit single..

Sharon Jones is a class act. She brought Wanda back into the performance and saved-it...

Erykah & Jill were Hot...

This year's special was lackluster and disappointing+boring for me. It didn't live up to it's potential with so many GREAT singers being involved. It just didn't flow well...felt like it wasn't too well-thought out. Erykah and Jill didn't "wow" me and I thought Erykah was a waste...they should have had her do some of her OWN songs...

SexyKev....Your take on this years Divas special is similar to other viewers...

Everyone keeps thinking that every Divas Live is gonna be like the 1st one. That will NEVER happen again. Even the Producers know the 1998 original special was a once in a lifetime gathering of some of the MOST "hard-to-book" acts...It's been DIFFICULT to re-create the "Magic"..

This years "salute to Soul" wasnt bad at all. I think the performers honored Soul "their way". Yeah a few singers could have been given different material but all the women and men performed as expected...The pairings were done well considering NONE of these women will ever "duet" again...

These shows are about "themes" so you're NOT gonna get the same Magic from 1998 that gave the annual Divas-special LIFE..
