huh? Peeing doesn't release the backed up semen.
 
Assuming that the semen is past the vas defense and remains inside the urethra, then yes, urinating will do that. I'm not sure just how close he's coming to ejaculating, but in my experience, I have gotten to the point where it just hasn't exited. I imagine letting it sit there is not so good, though the fact that people pee like clockwork would solve that.

However, I have heard that allowing semen to remain blocked up int he pre-urethral ducts can cause some complications.
 
Actually, you are putting yourself at risk. The back-up of semen can lead acute epididymitis.
