"Stanford University in 2017 admitted Ziad Ahmed, who in response to the application prompt “What matters to you, and why?” wrote “#BlackLivesMatter” 100 times. “Everyone who reviewed your application was inspired by your passion, determination, accomplishments and heart,” the university’s acceptance letter read. “You are, quite simply, a fantastic match with Stanford.” Mr. Ahmed decided Yale was a better match for him."

More about the author.

And his views on us:

"Rufo has been a prominent advocate for bans on teachers discussing LGBTQ issues in classrooms. He supported Florida House Bill 1557 (The Florida Parental Rights in Education Act, sometimes referred to as the "Don’t Say Gay" bill),[9] which prohibits teachers from discussing such matters in kindergarten through the third grade. Rufo appeared alongside Florida Governor Ron DeSantis when he signed a bill retaliating against Disney after the company criticized the Florida Parental Rights in Education Act.[9]

Rufo linked LGBTQ discussions at schools to grooming, the act of connecting with children for the purpose of sexually abusing them.[9] He said that schools were "hunting grounds" for sexually predatory teachers and that parents had "good reason" to worry about grooming.[9] Citing a study by Charol Shakeshaft, Rufo has claimed that public school teachers are responsible for 100 times more child sexual abuse than Catholic priests. Shakeshaft refuted this misuse of her data as "completely invalid".[8] After Disney criticized the Florida Parental Rights in Education Act, Rufo suggested that Disney was involved in sexualizing children and that the company was rife with child sexual abuse.
[9]"

So pardon me if I take his views on DEI and critical race theory with some grains of salt.

I would also point out that if Mr. Ahmed was accepted at both Yale and Stanford...it was for more than an essay.

Re Rufo's research, facts are facts.

Re Mr. Ahmed, I don't know anything about him other than the "essay". As for the Stanford employees who decided to not simply admit him, but shower him with praise, you may find this recent piece from the Stanford Daily interesting:

MMMM ok...now we are saying he must only have been admitted because of his family money? Based on J T Electric, who seems to have a bag full of axes to grind?

Do we have his transcripts?

Do we actually know that he did write #Black Lives Matter 100 times in response to a question or was he just bullshitting?

For all we know....he really could be one of the most cynical and abhorent men to walk the earth today...but the original story premise really is so sensationalist and de-contextualized that it undercuts the entire DEI rant by the author.

We all get it. In order to be a 'woke' conservative, you have to be virulently and loudly anti-woke.

Just as white women forgave Trump's sexism to enjoy his racism, many LGBT (including several vocal members here) happily ignore the west's homophobia to enjoy the racism.

This is another of those threads where the wink-wink nudge-nudge is not even subtle. Might as wel have titled it "They're letting n-words in our schools!" It's pretty much the sole cause of JUB's forums being, like the banners and porn pages, 97% white. Guess how shocked I am this thread debued less than 72 hours after I return from vacay.

None of it matters, doesn't even matter if it's true or not, fact checking literally does not exist for the "woke mind virus is destroying the west" crowd. Here's a good story to rile up the fires of white anger that raged for centuries and are now little more than a sad matchstick, the wizard of oz bellowing from behind a curtain.

OK. Now I know a little more: he's a very well-connected, cheeky, arrogant rich kid, emphasis on "rich". No wonder the underpaid admissions "officers" at Stanford engaged in a bit of forelock tucking.

Isn't that literally what white men did for centuries: nepotism, classism, "Do you know who my father is?!" When you're finished reading "We are the best at everything ever: a novella by yt guys" you should check out "What the fuck has actually been happening for the last millenia: a novella by literally everyone else.."

So sad that even a children's cartoon can contextualize your infantile racial resentments. "You believe for me to be more you must be less." Your entire world view is based on violent power dyamics. This is why your empire is crumbing to dust. It's not just the lack of humanity, it's deliberately driving away any semblance of it. Almost feral.

So you read one thing about him that may or may not be true but didn't let lack of knowledge stop you from lamenting that "one of us" was let into one of your spaces.

An HONEST telling of the problem with DEI: Rich white men made a promise, centuries ago, to poor white men that their whiteness will always be an asset, elevating them above the most cultured, affluent black man (or woman wearing pants). The election of Obama destroyed this promise. Affirmative Action, DEI, programs, organizations or protests that elevate "the others" are an affront to The Promise. And if your entire history is ethnic genocide, theft of land and resources and slavery, you don't have much to congratulate yourself for beyond your imagined sense of superiority. In many cases, The Promise is all they have.

Official narrative: Ziad Ahmed has tarnished the legacy of elite universities, unlike super geniuses such as George Bush II who graduated from Yale.
