Oops, I forgot to incl a summary of insurance implications and the legality of receiving these procedures in another country....
Also, after having either of these extreme surgeries you probably be unable to obtain any health care insurance--espc. if it's state funded. Who is going to take care you after the lobotomy? How would you pay for any nec medication or follow up care?
So, your next option is to go overseas. I'm personally not about to board a plane and go to a different country for surgery but in your case....
The first thing that you'll need is a passport (they take several weeks to get and are expensive about 100 bucks). Then you have to find a place to do the surgery. Your American insurance is worthless in other countries so you'll need to fund that yourself...6,000 won't cover it. Okay, if you have a lobotomy you'll be rendered a vegetable. How will you then make it out the country and back into the U.S. Can you board a plane after having a lobotomy? Who will make sure that you've made it home safely? The recovery period for a castration takes a really long time. How long can you afford to stay in the other country. Do you trust those doctors?
Oh, by the way, no matter what great commercials you see on television about prescription costs in other countries (good ole Canada),;generally, it is illegal to bring medicine into the United States that is dispensed in another country. Try getting that through customs.
Any more questions?
