Boston at present.
I just looked up this year's lineup...wow. That is quite a change from what it used to be. I either don't know, don't understand (Katy Perry? MC Chris? What?), or hate everything on the lineup save two groups (Horrorpops and the Pink Spiders).
When did Warped Tour start to suck? I remember liking it when I was about 14...hrm.

Tips for first timers: Well...Hope its not rainy? 'Cause a muddy outdoor concert is a bitch and a half. And don't talk to the emo kids.

I'm most likely gonna go to the Boston date at the Comcast Center....who knows..I haven't been in a few years....
Looking forward to:
All Time Low
Anberlin
Automatic Loveletter
Charlotte Sometimes
Cobra Starship
Every Avenue
Forever the Sickest Kids
Gym Class Heroes
Just Surrender
Katy Perry
Luda
Mayday Parade
Protest the Hero
Reel Big Fish
Say Anything
Story of the Year
Academy Is...
The Morning Light and the Audition
and any other bands that I missed at Bamboozle this year=)

tips for first timers....every time i've ever gone it's ALWAYS the hottest day of the summer for some reason...so take advantage of them letting you bring in an unopened bottle of water...bring a big one and keep hydrated! Wear comfortable shoes for sure. Get there early cause bands go on early and bigger artists can go on first cause it's a random draw everyday for the lineup so one of the headliners could be the very first band of the day.

pity it doens't come to australia....

our biggest festivals don't even get half the lineups warped always gets.

Im hoping that I can go... Unfortunately Molsens Park in Barrie is being turned into a fucking soccer stadium or some shit like that, so I'll probably have to go to Toronto =(

BTW, if you go in the mosh pit.. keep your shoes on tight, one of mine somehow ended up under a stage, lol.

It's on a Sunday this year in Denver (THIS Sunday, I think), so I'm not going. First time in...five years? I always make snacks for the Colorado bands to take with them, since they're usually stuck on tiny food allowances and no time to go find anything. And it means I can't wear my Master Splinter shirt this year... :(

Tips? Yes.

Water. LOTS of it. I think they'll let you bring a large bottle. (Check the website for details.) Drink lots and lots. Refill it at the water stations. I watched one youngish woman just totally faint from dehydration while I was walking by her.

Sunscreen. LOTS of it. Apply often.

Bring a good chunk of money for merch, but keep it close to your person - don't put it somewhere where it's easily snagged.

Get there early. Before they open, ideally. As you walk in, immediately make note of when the bands you MUST see are playing, and where. Bring a small notebook so you can jot down times and plan out your day. It's almost inevitable that two bands you really want to see will be playing at exactly the same time on two different stages. It sucks, but it happens. Make a choice.

Don't schedule seeing bands from start to finish. Do schedule time to wander around the merch tents to meet the bands. The smaller the band, the better your chance of actually getting to chat with them at length. Katy Perry? Probably not. Forever the Sickest Kids? Decent. 3OH3? Definitely. :) If some band in their booth looks interesting, go say hi. It's a good chance to get to know some cool bands before they make it huge. :)

Watch Animo's set, and sing along to "Fuck Yeah!" You already know the words. :) And tell them "hi" from me.

yeah almost every band does a signing at some point throughout the day..go to their merch booths and there is usually a sign that says the time and where it'll be...and most of the time there are street team members walking around with signs stating signing times. but yeah for the bigger bands lines get really long

I kind of want to go to the houston one but i dont know about the heat, lol. I only know a few bands though.
