Just yesterday, Warren sent a scathing letter to President-elect Trump citing the massive amount of lobbyists and special interests on his transition team:

Based on public reports, your transition team and your potential cabinet include over twenty Wall Street elites, industry insiders, and lobbyists making decisions that could have huge implications for their clients or employers. They include, among many others, a former Goldman Sachs executive who is rumored to be a Treasury Secretary pick; a paid consultant for Verizon who is making key decisions on your administration's Federal Communication Commission; a 'top lobbyist' whose firm lobbied on behalf of issues related to the Trans-Pacific Partnership who is shaping your Labor Department; and a climate-change-denying, oil industry-paid think tank fellow who is leading your environmental team's transition.

Calling on Trump to fire them all, Warren threatened:

Let me be clear. Should you refuse, I will oppose you, every step of the way, for the next four years. I will champion the millions of Americans you will fail to protect. I will track your every move, and I will remind Americans, every day, of the actions you take that fail them. And I will not be the only one watching. The millions of Americans who voted for you - and the millions who didn't - will all be watching you.

That was yesterday. Just this morning from Business Insider:

All lobbyists have been cut from Trump's transition team

So, how brown does everyone think Warren will make Trump's pants by 2020? This is good news, I think. Trump doesn't want to go up against Warren. That should be very useful during these four long years.

She and Sanders will have to hold his feet to the fire every day over the next four years.

And well done to her for pointing out his puke making hypocrisy with the nonsense about 'Draining the Swamp'.

DAMN! That gave me a hard on.....

I think I love her now.....

She and Sanders will have to hold his feet to the fire every day over the next four years.

Exactly. Sanders and Warren need to hold a friendly competition for the next four years to see who can make Trump shit his pants more.

This is great.

But here is where it begins where Republicans blame Democrats for everything even though they blocked Obama on tons of shit the last year.

I am happy though. The more of Warren that I see the more I like.

I haven't heard that expression for a very long time. (I assume it's the one that involves alligators?)

It was one of Trump's go to memes during his campaign.....but as Stephen Colbert pointed out...so far, all the appointees in the Trump transition team look like what you'd find after you drained the swamp.

This does not bode well. If he is going to let her lead him around every time she screeches at him, it will be a dismal 4 years.

I missed that connection. The phrase I was thinking of was: "When you are up to your ass in alligators, it is easy to forget that your original objective was to drain the swamp."

What, you object to someone demanding he stick to his word? Keeping one's word used to be a conservative value.

Well, they elected Donald Trump so keeping your word is no longer a "conservative" value.

And how does this dismal 4 years differ from yesterday's dismal 4 years? Or the day before that? Or... oh, hell, just go back to when he won the election.

I was seeing this documentary show on TV that had this scene where a couple of guys were trying to 'drain a swamp', had the pump going all day and got nowhere because they didn't know that the swamp was being constantly feed by a series of natural springs. It made me laugh cause I though it was such a symbolic example of what happens when politicians attempt to drain the swamp. They could get rid of all the lobbyists and such in Washington tomorrow. There will be a whole new crop by the next week.

He's moving the alligators out of the swamp and into the White House.

If he is going to let her lead him around every time she screeches at him, he might have a half a chance at being a decent president.
