Well, I came out...

congrats to you for coming out. (*8*)

and i am happy for that friend as well.

Congratulations! I'm happy for you that you have a good friend like him. Those friends make our lives much better places.

Congratulations Its a big step to take. The first is always the hardest, however if he is a close friend as you say do you not think that it would be best to be honest with him from the start? How will he react and feel when he finds out you weren't honest with him?

Congratulations! Nothing's more happier than being out and accepted by the people around you especially your friends. :)

Well done mate. :=D: You wont be the first person to use Bi as a safe half way house for starting to come out - and at 18 there is NOTHING wrong with that.

Your friend seems to have reacted as a good friend should have done - so you were right to tell him something. Chances are you will become even closer as a result.

You are a damn fine friend to have and he must know that. No need to discuss it any further with him if you don't want to - but I think you will find the new found freedom a nice change.

Silly things like being able to say "oh - he is cute" when you watch TV. Throw away comments like this are what friends should be able to say to each other without being awkward.

Good going and a special hug from me (*8*) - we all know its not an easy step to make and it sounds like you did a grand job. ..|

Yay Tyler....

Now, paint everything lavender and get lots of showtune CD's....and invite the rest of your posse over.

Welcome to the real world.

BTW, you're not going to fall in love with your friend now, are you???

Well, good job...sort of, haha. At least you know your friend accepts you :)
