I think I'm from the Piney Woods as well as I think it covers parts of SW Arkansas (including Texarkana, where I'm from), but I've never heard anyone but Texans use that phrase. I was born in Texas but spent all of my life until this August in Arkansas. I'm 28 as well, but the parents do know.

yea its literally the middle of nowhere...i finally got out of there a couple of years ago, never to return except for family stuff.....its like its stuck in a time warp
