Well, what was SUPPOSED to be a good date turned out to be not so great and potentially disastrous.

What you've described above (no actual anal or oral sex) is very, very low risk. Seriously, you have nothing to worry about wrt to HIV or even really other STDs. Warts and herpes can be spread by skin contact, but even contracting those from this encounter would surprise me.

The more important thing to learn from this is that you need to be up front and clear with guys. It doesn't sound like he knew before that you didn't want to go down on or bottom for him. A little lesson for you:

The reason anal sex is so dangerous for AIDS is not just because semen gets up your ass. It's because semen gets up your ass after the abrasion of his cock going in and out of your ass. That abrasion can break the skin/tissue surface in your anus/rectum, thus allowing his cum (and HIV) to get into your bloodstream.

So if he didn't penetrate you, and cum just dripped down there, it's no more dangerous than cum on your (uncut) skin.

By the same token, if he took his nails and scratched your skin until there was blood, and then came on it, that would be very dangerous.

I feel so stupid, I really do, and the one thing that scares me the most about getting HIV (besides the fatal consequences down the line) is the fact that I'd be perpetuating such a horrid stereotype to everyone I know...
