So i've decided to tell my mother that i'm gay... I have no clue how she's going to react, or anything... but i'm just gonna hope for the best... BTW i don't really have an approach to how i'm doing this... i"m just telling her. If it's a good idea, or not in an entirely different question... XD Wish me luck for here i go into the mouth of the beast.

WOW, so i got the exact opposite reaction i was expecting... Instead of fire, and lightning. I got "It's okay, i'll still love you." and after that... i was just kinda shocked that was all she said not "You fag, get out of my house!"... Thanks Seven. I needed that. :)

I just flat out threw it out there... I had a back up plan if she was gonna throw me out, either way i was telling her. XD

Congratulations! I done the same thing a couple of weeks ago with my mom and got the same reaction, too. It sure is a good feeling to get that off your chest, isn't it? Lightning didn't strike you, the world didn't stop turning or none of the other catastrophic things happened.

I hope your coming out process continues to go well. I think it only gets better from now on. :-)
