What Did You do on 4 July?

Now I know not everyone celebrates Independence Day, since we all live in different countries, but just curious what people did on Friday, 4 July 2008.





I ended up working all day at my job at Joe's Crab Shack, I am a server. 9 and 1/2 hours. The fireworks sucked mostly because I was too tired to enjoy them. I just downed 2 giant glasses of wine and a few jello shots and now I am going to bed.

ran errands during the day, house-hopped to a few BBQs, then met up with some friends in WeHo

Went a BBQ for about an hour and then later that night to work--just got home.

Went to a pool party and BBQ. Played water volleyball and drank too much. That eve a neighbor and I went up on the roof of our condo building and watched the fireworks.

Today... nothing.. I hope!

had breakfast, worked, had a few drinks, burnt a few american flags, had dinner.

it was rainy most of the day and at night so I just sat around all day and watched movies, jerked off 4 times, and read a little bit

worked then drove 50 miles to family's where i proceded to have a horrific breakdown , where i cried so hard i was hyperventlating, then i saw tristan my lil guy & than i was all again, i bought him a cute lil outfit at target, he says "is that for me" i said yes, he was so excited. & he said thank you, i about cried again, but held off

We went to this hill at dusk. you can litterally see for miles around. As dusk turned to full on night we could the fireworks near and far. At one point I counted six different displays going on. It was very cool.

Drove to DC yesterday, saw them setting up for the 4th Extravaganza and then left to come back to NC.

On the evening of the 4th, I caught up on the sleep I lost driving to DC the day before.

Did a little homework, started writing a song, cried a little bit, watched the fireworks and went to bed.

Had family over for a bbq extravangza - then fireworks - then exhaustion. I had only 4.5 hours sleep the night before getting in from a trip.

JUB Meet and Pride

We kicked off our Atlanta Jub Meet/Pride Festival last night!!!

It was a LOT OF FUN (Pics are starting to appear on the tread if you click on my signature thingy)!!!

Prior to that we woke up slow -- and then looked at a house a friend of ours is thinking of buying...

TODAY -- we're meeting at PRIDE (if I can wake Opinterph up)!!!

I went to the Chippewa Valley Museum with a few friends, as they usually have this family day every fourth of July. We basically ran around taking pictures like big dorks. I love it.

Then a friend and I went and got some fireworks, then went and partied. Watched fireworks, and then partied some more.

I love Leinenkugel's. Had a bunch last night.

I threw a BBQ here in Amish-land. Three of my friends from NYC are still here. As I type this, they're upstairs giving each other acupuncture.

No, really!

Slept in 'til 9 am.

Picked up a prescription for the Grandmother.

Went grocery shopping (with some of the most dazed and ugly people I've ever shared a store with).

Watched Brokeback Mountain for the first time. I bought the DVD ages ago, but never got around to watching it. God was it depressing.

Made hot dogs on the George Forman Grill, served with potato salad and watermelon for dinner.

Went to bed at 9 pm.

I downloaded Batman - Gotham Knight, watched it, fell asleep, talked to the guy I like on the phone for like four hours, fell asleep some more, Woke up, ate some dorito's, checked JUB, read New Moon, fell back asleep.
