The timing. Tech has existed for years, but just as the elite's plausible deniability has evaporated from an ocean into a few droplets suddenly HEY CHECK IT OUT!! Everybody can download an app and casually create animated visuals that make James Cameron look like grainy YouTube videos. Immediate total suspension of "you can at least trust your eyes." I swear to God I hate it here. its like living in a Disney villain's lair, minus the self-awareness but with 10x the hubris.

Also the timing and execution leave much to be desired. Countdown til some maladjusted teen (or 40 year old) makes AI vid of l*nching Michelle Obama or statutory .

We just saw Palantir responsible for bombing a girl's school and killing 157 children.

It is only a matter of moments before bored incel teens take all of this to real extremes with violence and degradation.

Or angry males around the globe figure out how to perfect their rage with Ai.

Ai ruined social media and other things because there's too much of it and you can't shut it down. I was googling an address, and ai comes along and tells me what the address is, and i was emailing someone back and forth, and here comes ai summazing the email. You can't go on any store website without an ai bot trying to help you.



Watching those documentaries about Ai data centers is scary, and my town is getting one through a back door deal.
