What is a metrosexual?
When used properly, "metrosexual" is in reference to (typically) straight men who are exceedingly meticulous about grooming and their appearance. You know -- the guys who use bronzer, or shape their eyebrows, or get manicures & pedicures, or always dress in the latest fashions, and so on. Basically, they're hung up on their appearance.
 
I'll consider dating a Dude that is "Metro-Sexy" but he better not expect me to pay for his Self-Pampering shit....
 
Metrosexual is a term that's been around for nearly a decade. Many stereotypes and notions that have been associated with gay men pertaining to femininity are applied to heterosexual men; however, the term is meant identify that these men are heterosexual, even though they do not follow traditional gender roles concerning masculinity.

An appreciation of the arts, fashion, cleanliness, literature, etc. fall under this umbrella of metrosexual as long as the guy in question identifies as heterosexual.

I'll sum it up like this:

Gay=Feminine
Metrosexual=Feminine Straight Male
 
I have a str8 friend I consider that way. Very hot into what he wears takes longer I bet then his wife to get ready. And when my parter and I say goodnight or goodbye to them I hug him and kiss his cheek and he does not flinch. Yet now ay he would do anything sex wise with me or cheat on his wife vene though girls come on to him
