What is your music taste?

Hi all! I love listening to and finding new music so I thought I’d share some of my favorite music and listen to some you all share!

My taste is almost exclusively sad/chill vibes but I really like almost all genres of music. I’ll link some of my favorite albums (spotify links)-

This album came out in 2020 but has such a nice retro disco/funk vibe in all of the songs

Titanic Rising by Weyes Blood
This may be my favorite album of all time. It took me a few listens to fall in love with it but it’s just so good. Very mellow and chill.

Ctrl by SZA
This is my favorite R&B album, the lyrics and overall vibe (i need to stop using that word )

Punisher by Phoebe Bridgers
This album is super depressing and sad but i love it so much. The best way do describe it is “soft”

Norman Fucking Rockwell! by Lana Del Rey
I am a huge Lana fan and this is easily her best album. Cannot recommend enough.

As for "chill," I have been doing some bossa nova. I've also been meaning to go through more of the Late Night Tales album series, since they always surprise me with unexpected musical choices that have me enjoying new genres.

I love pop! Heavy on Britney Spears! Boy Bands, Cher, Celine Dion, J Lo, Jonas Brothers I like pop punk All Time Low Simple Plan But I like some Nelly Missy Elliot and other rap I like electronic dance Disco, Glenn Miller Artie Shaw really A lot of music across many many different genres!

Right now - I like incognito (a UK band) alot. Lifelong favorites - Quincy Jones, Earth, Wind and Fire, Patti Austin, Ashford and Simpson, Chaka Khan, Boz Scaggs, Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Wonder, Sting, George Benson
