I've seen The Strangers: Chapter 1 and i'd like to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and Sonic the hedgehog 3

I really don't know...nothing seems to register with us at the moment.

Looking forward to seeing the world's first art/slasher movie "In A Violent Nature". It should be streaming soon. Also the new Beach Boys doc on Disney but I refuse to give those evil fucks any of my money so it may be a while before I can find a way to watch it.

Criterion is releasing Gregg Araki's "Nowhere" as part of a 3-movie boxed set. It's not that good, but I like it and it's never been on DVD or blu ray. I haven't seen it in decades.

I started watching "Nebraska" lat night and it's awesome so far. Can't wait to finish it tonight.

I haven't been to the cinema for years and I've no idea what's even coming up.
Last time I went to the cinema it was to see Mamma Mia (the first one)
My bladder won't allow me to sit through a 90 minute film without pausing it at least once

Add me to the list of those who don't go near movie theaters any longer. Last time was late 2005. A DVD from the library costs my favorite price: $0. And there are no movie theater annoyances. Plus most of what I watch is older, anyway.

I see almost every movie that comes to town. So the next few I am looking forward to are:

Inside Out 2
A Quiet Place: Day One
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice
Twisters
Speak No Evil
The Wild Robot
Joker: Follie a Deux
White Bird
The Lord of The Rings: The War of The Rohirrim

Those are all I have for 2024.

'Speak No Evil' is the outlier on this list. It'd be like putting a wolf in a box of kittens. Careful with that one.

It's already on Shudder, by the way. Make sure you've got your therapist on speed dial when you watch that one.

She'a a little old for the part; she's playing a 93 year old, when she was actually 94.

June Squibb is fucking delightful.
