First Post :wave: Straight to the issue: I've been seeing a guy who lives a couple of hours away for almost three months now and we connect really well. But the last two weeks I havent heard anything from him (we communicated at least once daily previously) and given that were both going through breakups from long term relationships plus he has serious work plus school, I havent wanted to make a big deal about it even though it is bothering me. Well tonight I decided I need to ask him whats up. But I just dont know how to ask without coming off as needy or upset. I want to ask him casually for my FYI. I just don't know what to say.
Keep in mind were not officially in a relationship, given both our circumstances were trying to take it really slow and see were it goes in the future. Also based on our conversations and how hes handled being with me (Ok and a close watch on his Facebook too LOL) I'm very sure hes not seeing anyone else. :help: SO what to Ask??? Million Thanks! :kiss:
 
How about, "is everything ok? We haven't been chatting as often." are you both on the rebound? Is he getting back with his ex?

Thanks I like that... As for on the rebound I know for sure i'm not it's been almost 3 years since my breakup started and he says its been two for him but truthfully I dont know what his feelings are for his ex, do know the ex is dating someone. I have to say I do believe hes been sincere in that respect. Oh and I met a big chunk of his family on his bday and PDA wasnt an issue at all, does that say anything?

He doesn't seem to be going out of his way to reassure you. So I think he's either lost interest or is playing hard to get. I can never tell the difference and I don't have time to play games, so I usually drop them like a rock. YMMV.
 
For me, I don't play the games anymore.

If he's being coy, I don't reply.

Were I in your situation, I'd wait for him to contact me. If he doesn't, I'd move on.
 
Thanks guys, this helped me realize that perhaps the magic maybe over, his silence seems indifferent. so I'm going to move forward a bit for now just keeping him within sight and see what happens. Actually accepted going on a date tonight with someone new. ; )

Date went very well.... actually turn into 4 consecutive dates LOL! very sweet guy. And talked to the first guy, wanted to let me know he'll be in town for christmas but other than that silence.... Thanks for the interest btw ;)
