What Video Game has your favorite story?

That's an interesting question...I have too many games to pick one with a favorite story line...I'm currently playing Bioshock 2 and I like it. But Idk what game has my favorite story....I'm more of a fighting gamer honestly and shooting and other vs type games...

Final Fantasy 8, and Chrono Trigger. Also LOZ: Wind Waker, not really a story driven game but the presentation of the story, and the "ancient" legend feeling is amazing.

That would have to be the 'Baulder's Gate' series. (1 & 2, you could import your old character.)

Highlight to read spoiler comment:I mean, any game where you have the ability to conclude it by becoming a God is ace in my books!

The 'Quest for Glory' series would be a close second, because it was funny and totally unique. (1-5, you could also import your characters through the various games.)

Non-PC would be (SNES) Chrono Trigger, Breath of Fire I & II, Secret of Mana.

hands down FF8 for me. it's funny because i was actually thinking about that today. every time i replay it, i see it from a new perspective so it's always refreshing. as a kid i always thought that if one video game were to be made into a movie it should def be that. i know it probably wouldnt be great as a movie but i think that it would be interesting to see how it is interpreted. there was a pretty strong love story that would be able to carry it. FF7 also had a pretty strong storyline.

I'm gonna have to say uncharted 2 because for me it really did feel like a movie. Plus the character are well developed and you get the feel for them

I'm just falling in line with many other folks - Final Fantasy VIII, IX, X, and Tactics were all my favorite stories in video games. (There are a lot of other good ones, mind you. For me it's mostly RPGs)

If I had to pick my favorite story of these, I'd say FF X was the best. All I have to say is, "Go to hell, Yunalesca!!!" lol

edit: I have to add this though - Star Ocean 3's story overall was very meh until I got into the last half. Totally makes you rethink the entire series!
