There's a book I've loved since 7th grade, called Mount Dragon by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child.

It's been a few years since I've last read it, since I lost my copy, but it was an amazing book.

Effectively, it revolves around a scientific team working on a universal cure for all forms of influenza, known as X-FLU. The problem, at the start, is that the current version is actually a highly lethal form of the flu and two scientists are tasked with making it non-lethal.

Of course, slowly things in the lab start to seem strange as employees seem to start losing their minds and things descent into madness...

There's also some great secondary story lines, mostly involving the head of the company and his former business partner; and a disabled hacker looking for vengeance.

I think it could make a great movie if someone took the time to make sure they addressed the issues presented in the book, as opposed to just trying to make a cheap action/thriller.

Thought about this since I first read the book years ago but Curious Incident of The Dog In The Night-time by Mark Haddon. The way the book was written was brilliant, would be cool to see that made into a film!

It may take a few movies but Earl really needs a proper end to it
It just wasn't right ending the final season on a cliff hanger lol
