I've noticed some unique user names around here, and ones that make no sense.

So, what's behind your user name.

I think mine is fairly obvious... !oops!

Hither is my explanation:

dkonfrost = an abbreviated version of Deacon Frost, a character from the first "Blade" movie. Stephen Dorff (hottie!)'s character was an inspiration for me cuz he was such a bad-ass AND a vampire. the name stuck.

oh, and the abbreviation was from when I still had AO-Hell and had the screen name character limits on it. :D

Mine is due to my pegasus tattoo and the 69 should explain itself.......

Initially the GL were the initials for a guy I had the hots for. 247 was 24/7. It all dove tailed into one of my geek obsessions, Green Lantern. The rest was history...

](*,) ](*,)

the local village idiot could not type properly so his name is due to his stupidy. nonthing more then a spelling error.:grrr: :grrr:

eM.!oops! :help:

Well, it was a nickname given to me a long time ago by my brother. I loved to write, and I used to keep a journal, which I was always secretive and dramatic about. So my brother nicknamed me "Ronboy" after John Boy Walton (Richard Thomas's character) on the 70's TV show "The Waltons." And it stuck.....

Mine is the title of the hit song recorded by the San Francisco group Train in 2001.

I like the feel of the song, the lyrics, and the marvelous orchestration... not to mention the lead singer's cool voice...

Any more questions? hehe :D

Robert is the name my mother gave me (she named me after my father, she's original like that); Marlénè is the name I gave myself, after Marlene Dietrich whose birthday I share: I put them together because I am a unique amalgamation of predisposition and self-creation. The tilde in the middle is because hyphens are straight and I'm not.

I chose "hotdog" because of all the possible double entendres and puns possible. I like gentle humor like that. It's also related to hotdoggin', a skiing term that's probably woefully out of date nowadays that refers to tackling a tough, gnarly slope with gusto. (I used to be an avid skier in better days.)

1846 ... well, I just liked the number. It's almost, but not quite, symmetrical. Almost on-kilter, a bit off-kilter, kind of like me.

Mine is kinda stupid, but it's from sports. Robby is obvious...actually my
middle name(don't like my first). And for the second part...
I was on a team that the guys called me the "show" because I can mash
a ball and I am as intense on the baseball ballfield as I was on the
football field. Still doesn't compare to separating a receiver from his helmet
as he tries to catch a ball though:D .

Ned Nickerson was Nancy Drew's boyfriend...

As far as I know, he never kissed her ... or anything else...

He just hung around her because of her connections with the hunky detectives on the police force...

I was actually wondering about your name earlier.

My first name starts with "G". Years ago while still in sales after landing a huge account during the Atlanta Olympic games all my co workers started calling me Gmoney because of my success and it just stuck. Some guys don't even know my real name! (lol):D
