I was thinking about that recently, and I think it's "Always Be My Baby" (Mariah Carey) even though I've never really gotten into much of her other music....it gets me into a sort of relaxed, care-free feel-good mood like no other pop song (which according to some people might be a contradiction when it comes to Mariah).

Marco Borsato ´Rood´ (Dutch) is my favorite song ever. Sorry guys, not every song is in English and available in the US. The world is bigger than USA
 
Shocking Blue with ´Venus´ (also Dutch) is also a favorite. Bananarama made this song a world wide hit in the 80s, but Mariska Veres made it to a number 1 position in the US in the 70s with Shocking Blue
