I know people in Canada have already had their Thanksgiving (hope it was good!) and some here may not have Thanksgiving at all, but regardless of all that, what's your favorite Thanksgiving yummy?

Turkey, mashed potatoes, yams, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. Basically everything except green beans.

Mmm... stuffing.

Then pumpkin pie.

Although apple pie is just as good.

Oh, ham is good too! As is turkey.

Oh hell... the whole darn thing. ;)

Yeah, I admit I'm a stuffing fantatic too. I really miss my mom's stuffing. She made it homemade every single year with lots of celery and onions in it. It was awesome.

But I'm also a turkey and mashed tater and gravy freak. I think I could eat just the turkey, the mashed potatoes and gravy and stuffing and be happy with it.

I love it all! ..| The dressing and the green beans or green bean casserole are what I usually have seconds or third helpings 'til I hurt!

Green bean casserole rocks. I love that as well.

Fuck it, I'll just eat it all.

Stuffing, altough I love all of the food, stuffing is always my Fav.

Love the turkey and stuffing with jellied cranberry sauce. Love it all really, but those are the favorites. Do it my way too. Have an old wood cook stove (has everything except the water tank) and fix the whole meal on that. Fix the turkey in a covered (speckleware) roaster so it is moist not dry, basting every 30 minutes. Stuffing is made from scratch as is most of the meal. I always laugh about it taking 6 or so hours (meal prep only) to get things together and about 20 minutes for the event to be over. But ya know, it is worth it every time especially with very special friends being there and expressing their particular things to be thankful for and graditude for being able to share. Wonderful day.

Whole cranberry sauce with orange. Pecan pie with whipped cream.

Oh and TURKEY.

God, I'm hungry.

Oh well, while we're on the subject...turkey, dressing, pumpkin pie. Yummy, yummy!

Stuffing! I make my own stuffing from scratch. I mean really from scratch. I will start Saturday by making the bread for the stuffing from scratch.
Then Wednesday I will hand grind the vegetables, fry the pork sausage and make the stuffing for the turkey on Thursday. It is my great grandmothers recipe. I love doing this and it is delicious.

The stuffing...no wait,the mashed potatoes and corn on the cob!..| No,the turkey and brown gravy!:D Not quite,the pumpkin/apple pie/cheesecake dessert festival!:gogirl: I never got cranberry sauce's great appeal,though!

Squash dressing! Put the dressing down and no one will get hurt....

(Here in the American South we don't do "stuffing." We do pan dressing with egg gravy! YUM - YUM!
