Yeah I had those dry spells when I was married to a woman; and the desire for a hot, passionate fuck with a guy was overpowering. been single now for a long time and no problem now. LOVE my options currently.

What is it that happens that men marry women and then find out she doesn't want to have sex a year into the marriage. Don't you talk about what your drives are before committing? Or are you saying the woman is hot for you and mysteriously not so hot for you after a year or two? I have found women are eager for sex IF the man is romantic (assuming she likes affection) and he doesn't give affection without expecting to mean that it's going to lead to sex. There have been studies done about this exact thing.

I never found that with my female partners. I liked the affection and I didn't tie it to sex (like it was a transaction). Maybe the approach is to talk to her?

Frankly, many men are lousy at expressing affection. I had to ASK my boyfriend today if we are actually dating (since COVID popped into existence after our first date (and I did NOT put out). When he applied affirmatively, I had to tell him I was aurally oriented, and I needed him to say the words, "baby" "honey" or something that told me that he considered us a not-quite-yet-a-couple, but I was more than someone to Skype with and do sexy things on Skype (which is NOT the same thing as expressing tenderness/affection). And I pointed out that I knew he was cooler in temperament than I was, but if he expected me to KNOW that he thought of me as a "kind of" boyfriend, he'd better start opening his mouth, because there were guys who WERE saying these things to me online, and I actually had to stop and ask myself, "Do I already have a boyfriend or am I just kidding myself."
Open your mouths and ask questions about why (assuming you aren't doing this) you aren't having more sex, and does the woman think sex was just supposed to diminish over time (because that's bullshit that I hear people espouse all the time. If you are crazy about your spouse, the sex does NOT fall off, barring mental stress or physical disabilities developing).
So, ASK about the dry spell and why it's happening. You might be surprised at the answers.
