I don't know who would use them the least but in the U.S. it is certainly a real study in human behavior. This country is addicted to cell phones to a point where it's grossly annoying and some people are totally rude about it. I was at a party the other night and someone got a cell phone call and expected the whole party to "be quiet" because he was on the phone. Rude. Since when does a cell phone call take precedence in a social setting? NOT! He was told by the host to take himself and his cell phone outside if he wanted quiet. He did and never returned to the party. I guess a cell phone makes some people think they are more important than anyone else. I think cell phones should be banned in movie theaters. There is nothing more annoying than laying down 10 bucks to see a movie and have to sit there listening to cell phones going off and people talking about nothing.

Yes, I have a cell phone but it's not tatooed on my backside like a badge of honor. If I'm going to a movie, I either leave it in the car or set it on "vibrate" so it doesn't ring in the theater.

For example Bulgaria: here all cell phones are banned from use while driving and in public transport. 72% of the population have cell phones, that makes almost every adult...

Actually the US is behind some other countries, like Korea, Japan, and I think some European countries. And we're way behind in usage of text messaging.

I see them using them in church, the movies etc. Nextell is the worst all you can hear with the walkie talkie next to you is Breep.......breeep.....breeep..... screw them. I don't even have or want a cell phone. My new boss asked me how she could contact me without one. I responded carrier pigeon.

I've had a cell phone since the damn things were referred to as "brick phones" because they were litterally the size and weight of a brick. Over the years I used it less and less and about a year ago I went over 4 months and never used the thing. I decided then it was time to either get rid of it or do something different since I was paying about $45.00 a month for absolutely nothing. I decided to go with the pay as you go phones. No contract to deal with, great phones, and I just load it up with as much time as I want (over the internet) and never get another monthly bill. I'll never go back to paying for a cell phone every month.

I'm standing at the urinal and in the stall right next to me I hear a guy answer his cell phone and have a conversation. All the while I can hear him farting and whatnot. LOL, those were my thoughts. You definitely can't use it when you're in jail. And it's pretty annoying that the attorneys often aren't allowed to bring them in!!

I would guess (to answer on topic) that 3rd world countries would have the least amount of cell phone usage because the population can't afford them??

I know in some California courts (and based on my experience this appears to be a unique california thing) you can't bring a cell phone into a court room. The rationale is that too many phones have cameras in them, and thus it would be too easy to take pics in a court room which is very prohibited. Funny thing, if you have a phone with no camera, it's okay.

You might be surprised. I've seen dozens of guys talking on their cellphones while walking into the bathroom as well as a few pissing with one hand, talking on the cell with the other. I've also overheard this one dude's cellphone conversation with his girlfriend in a public, college mensroom while he was (audibly) taking a crap.
