Its funny I've been wondering the same thing since I got back a week ago. Last time I lived here I did gay.com and some other sites, went to a couple gay youth groups, signed up for an outdoors gay club... none of those worked out in terms of friendship or relationship. Anyone point us in the right direction??

If you are old enough check the baths in in Toronto just to see what you might like.
 
I'd really advise against going to baths as an 18 year old. You'd probably meet guys more to your liking if you'd step foot inside a gay bar or a trendy club in the village (assuming it's anything like Montreal).

I agree it would be wise to avoid the bathhouses until you have some experience under your belt. They could eat your tender ass alive in there. I always pray for safe passage (and flattering lighting) when I go to Steamworks or Spa Xcess.
 
Yeah, exactly. Go to a party or something buddy. Walk in the village and check things out, get some flyers, get on facebook and try and find events coming up, etc. It's easy. Especially if you're young and cute and new to the scene.
