Hi every one I really need some help. I am fed up with my IE7 browser. I want to download a new one, I cant make up my mind could someone please help me. I really need it you see it takes forever for my IE7 to load up and it takes forever to go to one webpage to another i have broadband but it still takes forever to get any where it took over 10 seconds to get here please help me. Thanks.

mozilla/firefox is probably your best bet for another browser. IE7 almost feels like theyre trying to copy mozilla/firefox but thats just me.

I think the consensus amongst most advanced computer users is that FireFox is the best and safest browser. And i do agree. However, as a stubborn anal-retentive person, i still use IE. I've found IE7 is generally safe and stable, and ok to use.

I guess i will be the only one to say that I use Netscape and very happy with it.

It makes no sense using Netscape, as it's based on Firefox. Netscape (the company) just branded it their way.

Have you tried Safari 3.0b for windows? There were some issues at the beginning but these were fixed in a few days. It is by far the fastest browser on the Mac. YMMV. Download it here. http://www.apple.com/downloads/
Be sure to check for updates.

Internet Explorer!

Use to have Opera, but when I got Vista changed back to Internet Explorer.

Has not once stopped working! And stays fast how ever long its on!

I just tried Opera, and didn't really care for it. Many site loaded wrong, and only a few commonly used every day sites worked correctly. FireFox seems to be the most stable, but it makes sense to use IE for site that are not compatible or do not work with FireFox and other browsers.

Using both Firefox and Opera regularly. It's actually good having 2, as neither is perfect.

FF refuses to remember my log-ins for Yahoo and JUB, but Google and all the others it will store happily. So, it's Opera for the regulars.

But when exploring the dark corners of the Interweb, I feel FF is safer.

It's a bit like changing hands inthe middle of a w...
[I've just gone and lowered the tone, haven't I?!oops!]

when I was on a pc I converted to Firefox when IE got compromised once too often, rather than spend ages trying to fix it I just went to Firefox. On the mac I stayed with Firefox rather than Safari as I like the Fireftp plugin. The only problem I have is with video servers that use activeX as, as far as I know, and I would love to be corrected on this, they only work with IE.

omg yes when i go to wwe.com i cant watch videos but the speed and security is awesome

I like both IE7 & Firefox. For everyday browsing, I use IE7, because I was sick of dealing with some websites tha tdon't display right in Firefox.

Ever since IE7 came along, I found that there is very little difference between IE and Firefox--tabbed browsing came in IE7, and that's really all I wanted.

But for JUBing and porn-watching, I use Firefox

Personally for me, Opera is the best. Quite fast, very easy to use, mouse gestures are great and in overall I somehow think I can "adjust" it more personally than Firefox. (e.g. I created new shortcuts for serach engines, dictionaries, Wand passwords are great etc) So for me, it´s number ONE!

i use Firefox, except Tuesday afternoons when I catch up on The Hills in IE7.

Video works better for me in IE7

I haven't really given Firefox a good try, but I've been using Opera for a while and I'm very comfortable with it :-)

Firefox is awesome.
My only current problem with it, is YouTube videos are currently not loading for me.
My friend has the same problem (who also uses Firefox).

Apart from this recent mis-hap, Firefox has treated me very well, and I would highly recommend it! ..|
