Which Media Player do you prefer?

I would recommend VLC Media Player.

It does not allocate itself as the default media player and it can play a large amount of video file extensions. You can also modify it with custom skins, if you don't like the bland look of it.

difficult question, i am always switching between winamp, foobar, media player.... no real favourite out of these 3...

You have control over which media files those various players play and are associated with,
don't you know?

When installing, make sure you configure them for the exact files you want associated with that player.

For music Winamp is still king; lately I've used Windows Media for DVDs, but am casting around for better -- AVS DVD controls my soundsystem better, but is choppier (in the free version).
