I use my laptop and 360; hopefully I can find a Wii soon.
I was a hardcore gamer, but lack of time and cash has so far prevented me from getting a new system.
PS3 - just under $1000 Australian (far too much).
I'll wait for a few price drops and some more worthy games.
XBOX 360 - I'll likely get one before Xmas. Halo 3 will be out by then too.
But the red ring of death is still a worry.
Wii - I refuse to buy a kiddy console that shares its name with piss.

Thank you provenlogic. PCs are neglected as a "gaming" machine (not to mention they are more powerful than consoles, but don't tell a fanboy that). PC gaming unfortuantely is mostly confound to MMOs.
I was a WoW addict, but quit back in May. Inside info on the amount of users that Blizzard claims. They consider users the amount of "active" accounts including trial accounts. Considering WoW trials are like the new AOL disks/floppies, the actual number of "true" WoW players has been declining drastically, but Blizzard won't admit it to the public which is why they keep shoving trials down people's throats (doesn't that sound like AOL?).
Im hoping to pick up Oblivion goty this tuesday. I would have bought the original back when it came out but my lappy then couldn't run it. Now, the new one I have is able to, I can finally enjoy the game.

I just bought my 360 a couple weeks ago. I haven't been all too impressed with it. But then again, I've been a longtime pc gamer with very high standards for gaming.

Next Gen would mean that not all the console have been released yet, but they have. So the "next gen" is now the Current Gen!
