The Carnivorous Lamb by Agustin Gomez-Arcos, I don't know if it is still in print. Berlin Stories by Christopher Isherwood (anything by Isherwood). James Baldwin, Tennesse Williams' Collected short stories, read the gay stories before they were broadway hits. The Man Who Fell In love With the Moon by Tom Spanbauer. John Reid, John Rechy. Yukio Mishima, warning, he's very heavy. William Burroughs, Mary Renault. That is all I can think of at the moment...

Clay's Way has been mentioned already, but it is a Great book seriously. And Blair Mastbaum, the author is a sweetheart. Nice and Talented doesnt always go together. He's working on his new novel PUSH right now.

i pretty much only read scifi and fantasy books, but i read about 1 book a month. i'm re-reading Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series. there are 11 books at the moment and each is about 600 pages long

'At Swim, Two Boys' was on of the best book I've read. I actually cried at the ending.
