Who else thought Spiderman 3 sucked?

SPOLER!

The whole Emo Peter Parker was kind of unneeded in the movie.

*timidly raises hand*

Actually, I don't think the movie sucked per se, but rather it was so built up that I had all of these expectations going into the movie...

...and left with a lot of it still intact. I didn't really get my fix, I guess.

And yes, I think the whole emo thing was unneeded also.

It was horribly cheesy and there were WAYYYY too many plot lines. The the whole thing where they were buddy partners at the end and kept making little jokes to eachother, AND WHERE THE FUCK DID THAT ASTEROID COME FROM ANYWAY?!?!

Really, the whole movie was just ridiculously stupid. Didn't care for it AT ALL. No wonder Toby is quitting.

It's pretty sad when the whole theater erupts in boos and laughter during the super-cheesy and overacted death scene, like what happened in Miami when I saw it.

There were good parts, but there were plenty of sucky parts.

I also am in awe. I thought I was waching Pete Wentz from Fall out Boy, and not Peter Parker. I was up for an action movie, and I was given a high cost, low profit worse than a "Lifetime" chic flick. Much like what Homer Simpson says... "I like my steak rare, my beers cold, and my gays flaming!" I kept waiting for that "special" moment in the "special" episode of "Growing Pains" between Harry and Peter. Funny Harry Peter...just got that.......what is next? "Bareback Spidey and Anus of Doom"? Don't know if I will go to another sequel to this mess. Unless it is porn and shot by COLT or LUKAS!

Sorry.. but I have to disagree..... Yes this was the weakest of the 3 but name a trilogy where the third installment was equal to the rest.....

As far as I was concerned... I thought that everything was done appropriately ...

I only had 3 problems with the movie....
1) Harry seemed to redeem himself a little too quickly....
2) MJ didn't seem to be with it ...
3) Gwen Stacy didn't have to be in the movie....

Other than that this one still ranks higher than ...Catwoman... Hellboy... any of the Blades...Elektra... The Hulk... Batman & Robin...and Batman Forever...... in terms of comic related movies....

It didn't suck...

It just didn't live up to the hype.

It's not better than the other two movies, but it's not worse.

I heard it sucked big time and i'm not that fussy when it comes to entertainment and I was even put off seeing it.

OK Spoilers

James Franco DIED!!!!!!

Come on the best actor in all 3 films and they kill him off!!!

I agree too many plotlines and non villians and can anyone tell me if Sandman and Venom actually died?

This left me feeling meh like the 1st, the 2nd still to me is the best.

The film was weak. Why? Way too much going on. In both story and characters. In fact, it reminded me of X3 which suffered the same troubles. I would rate the film a C+.

Oh, and the whole emo-Parker? That was just too silly.

Toooooooo long and toooooooo many bad guys, plus some of the action looked like a cartoon. I was very disapointed in it. He needs to get rid of the girl friend, which is boring as hell.

I almost fell a sleep, I have to say it sucked even wuith all those new characters

Now X3 and its Phoenix plot, huh....that was kinda interesting. Spidey 3 and its Emo plot...well, thinking about it, I liked it at first, then it went to far, but that was the point wasn't it. The more the symbiot took over, the more silly it became. I was too harsh, if it was silly, then maybe it was meant to be. I just wanted more action, less crying, and more of hot ass Harry!

LOL did anyone else besides me think the scene in the jazz club where the Emo-Peter with his black bangs & flying across the room was a little too much like Jim Carrey in The Mask??? The whole time during that scene I was expecting Peter's face to turn bright green & a random conga line to start LOL!

I also hated the fact that none of the "villains" (and that's calling them that lightly.....) had any kind of plan they wanted to accomplish. I don't know about you, but I want my comic book movie villains to scheme their way into building a death machine or trying to aquire some kind of death liquid or whatever, and in Spidey 3 the villains were kinda just there and & all they were was just pissed off at Peter.

Yeah, the third movie sucked hard.

I thought it was terrible, but I was laughing my ass off throughout the entire thing, and enjoyed it...not for what I should have enjoyed it for, I'm sure.

But I have bad taste in films.

It wasn't bad, it was lacking substance. There were unanswered questions:

Do MJ and Peter get back together?
What happened to the Sandman?
What will happen to Dr. Connor's sample of the venom?
What were the origins of venom from space?

The jazz-performing Peter was really irrelevent and could have been used to for character development.

To me it's just a comic book movie so I don't take it to seriously. I thought it was entertaining but found myself cringing at the end when I heard the banter between Harry and Peter when they were fighting Sandman and Venom. I think they could have just lost Sandman all together.

I thought the same thing. In fact, while watching the movie, I blurted out "and starring in The Mask: 3, Mr. Peter Parker!". B-A-D!

Dont believe it sucked myself, obviously different than what i thought it was going to be. But overall i enjoyed Spiderman 3, others didnt. To each there own as far as i'm concerned.
