I am a big fan of the tv show Heroes and it hasn't been on for weeks and won't be back until April 23rd?

Why do they do that?
 
To piss us off... It's like, the best new show of the year... Can't wait until April 23.
 
A lot of shows do that. The basic fact is they can only make so many episodes a season and it's either have a hiatus and watch all new episodes or run reruns. They are choosing not to run reruns because the show follows a chronology and it screws some people up.

I was bitter about this a little in the past but realize it has to be done.
 
LoL consider yourself lucky...A fav of mine (One Tree Hill) has been on hiatus since February 21st until May 2nd...Argh...

That's true for the most part, here's a bit of an expansion: So basically when a new show premieres (and even the start of new seasons of current shows) only a certain amount of the episodes for the season are filmed, that way if it flops they don't lose quite as much money. When Heroes became wildly popular and was picked up for additional seasons they had to film more episodes, that's why we keep having breaks.
 
People get over it, if you couldn't handle this Heroes break, how on earth are you going to handle summer?
 
I'm over the show since december actually, this break allowed me to totally lose interest in it. So it's not really a bad thing for me.
 
Can't wait to discuss it here again. A lot of you have some pretty good stuff to say about the episodes. Quick, somone start a Heroes Part 3 thread, lol.
