Why are most straight guys...

To be honest, I have never, ever many any gay men who had the desire to be, or constantly bragged about having seduced a "straight" man, or manipulated a situation to end up having sex with one. I do agree, however, that some gay men seem to have a bizarre fixation with the notion of "turning" a straight guy into the love of their lives, or at least, coaxing him into having sex with them.

I have often wondered whether this could be some sort of strange exercise of self-affirmation; as if they wanted to say "I am so desirable, that I can transcend the innate sexual orientation of any man, and make him want me". While understandable, seeing this as anything other than a childish fantasy is dangerous, and will most likely only end up with those who try to act on it in hospital, beaten black and blue.

However, it does offend me that any straight man, instantly assumes that all gay men will desire him. Just as some gay men seem to have a fixation with being desired and sexually exploiting gay men, many straight men seem to enjoy victimizing themselves and playing a stupid game of "protect myself from the sexually voracious faggot". I have had many a straight men, who only inspired repugnance in me, act as if implying that I was never going to be able to sleep with them, no matter how badly I wanted to. What I have often found bizarre is that some of them get angry when they realize that you don't spend your days hopelessly pining for them, as if it were the obligation of gay men to degrade themselves over so little.

I have also found some other straight men who will take anything as a sign of your morbid desire for them. Just because you turn around and your eyes meet for a fraction of a second, or you politely laugh at a joke, doesn't mean that you want to compromise anyone's integrity and rape them.

I think that insecurity, vanity and arrogance play a very important role in the fictitious relationship that most straight men like to build with gay men, and it is offensive, annoying and tiring when you have to keep showing people that no, you don't want them and no, they don't interest you at all, at any level.

I remember I was at the gym once, and while changing in the locker room I overheard this guy (straight) talking about how some gay guy was staring at him like he was a piece of meat, and I said to myself yeah a piece of stale, rotten, maggot infested meat, cause this guy was extremely harsh on the eyes. He had the tips of his over processed hair dyed blonde and it matched his sun kissed teeth, I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
