Why can't I see RocketTube Vids?

I have a slow dial-up connection - but i can see short YouTube and other vids - like Xtube - and site trailers, etc., (with a lot of patience) - but RocketTube ones never seem to load at all --

Is it me?

There's a bunch of posts in this forum on Flash testing/diagnostics link, which might be the problem - even if other Flash-based sites work. It's possible with dial-up that the buffering method they're using (you mention "short Youtube" vids) is causing it to time out or something, or their wrapper needs more of the video preloaded.

You can try hitting up http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ to run their Flash test. Also try http://blog.deconcept.com/swfobject/flashversion.html .

I gotta ask - any reason you're on dial-up? No highspeed availability where you are? I would be curious if the problem were solved if you went to highspeed on your same PC, or if it would persist.

How powerful is this computer? What processor and how much RAM?
