It's a sad world but thats basically how young guys treat older men.
All the guys, young and old, good and bad, cute and ugly will treat you badly, if you only let them. Not always. And not absolutely every guy out there is like that, but many dudes will go for it.
Recognize the reality of your situation: there is a huge number of 'older dudes', who are after 'hot, young guys in their early 20's'. That's a well-known fact of life.
Obviously, a few young dudes see this as 'an opening'. They have got the looks. You have got the money. They are desirable and 'not in need'. You are not that 'desirable' any more and would really love to get your rocks off with a younger dude. So, you'll do, whatever it takes... They might be young. They even might be very manipulative and dishonest. But they ain't necessarily dumb.
Do not underestimate their wits and do not overestimate the value of your experience.
The moment they see that you are willing to drive for 2 hours to hook up with a guy you have never seen before and you really do not know much about, except for the fact that he was not returning your calls in the past and that he was disrespectful of you and your time, you are an easy prey. You are signalling hopelessness on all the frequencies.
Do not go there.
Hope is not a plan. Determine, why would a hunky 20-some cute dude frankly go for you? What is it that you have and are willing to share with him? What is it that brings you to the front of the race, if you will.
Communicate your advantage and you'll be surprised at the results.
Yup. It is a no-brainer that youth and very good looks attract a great many people. But actually, no matter how many guys are after you, very few are really offering anything more than just the 'plain, ole sex and nothing else'.
Show a substantial advantage, and you rule.
Just the way the cookie crumbles these days...
