.....ruin their body with the most awful tattoos.

Now i'm not a big fan of tattoos, but the right tattoo in the right place can look sexy.

This guy has made a big mistake in my opinion... what do you guys think.
Getting a tattoo in my opinion is a big thing, something you think long and hard about, has this guy?

It could be a non permanent one just for the photoshoot I guess!!

Opinions on tattoos welcome please, also if you have a tattoo, how did you decide on the design and location? do you regret it now?

love to hear your opinions

Many years ago, I was walking down the street and a young fellow was approaching me. He had no shirt on and, from a distance, it looked like he had a huge, black circle on his chest. As I passed, I noticed it was something of a tattoo. Either it had gone horribly wrong (and a prime candidate for a lawsuit) or he had tattooed something there which needed to be covered up. Either way, the guy's chest was marred for life.

I don't know - because maybe they WANT them?

Tattoos are sort of a non-issue to me. They can be distracting on some people, but a nice counterpoint on others. I wouldn't wear one, mainly because I'm too capricious - I'd change my mind on what I'd want every week. But I don't think people SHOULDN'T get tattoos just because they're ruining MY eye candy. That'd be downright silly.

I think the big mistake was the guys hair! hehehe

I have a tattoo, and am planning another, it is an egyptian symbol about 5inches long on my right calf, I got it after I had a very bad car accident, to celebrate the fact I survived it :D
the symbol means strength, courage and everlasting life.

each to their own I guess, I dont understand people who get meaningless designs to look cool, they will regret it!

but things like names of your children or symbols that actually have meaning, especially if they have a personal meaning to the individual, I understand

i like tatts

they be cool.

and it's his body so he can do what he wants

I like subtle tats, which doesn't necessarily mean small or hidden. A while back I saw a guy with a tattoo around his ankle. It was pretty big, but not very noticeable due to the reddish/brownish color. I liked it, it was pretty ornate and interesting to look at.

The guy's hair and tattoo in the picture sucks IMO. It looks like something Tim Burton would sketch with a sharpie after a few pints.

i have three tattoo's. i'm agree that some tattoos are just ugly. But all three of mine mean something. they mean something really important and are like, essential to my being.. I know it probably doesn't make sense, but they are important reminders, everyday. They take years for me to decide on what i want and i'm really proud to have them.

i think a well placed tattoo is quite sexy actually :p
i'm especially fond of Chinese characters,
even though the Chinese themselves might think it silly.
and also those star-symbols you see allot these days! <3
who knows.. maybe one day i'll have someone tattoo a Chinese poem on my back,
perhaps one expressing my eternal love of Tea.

One or two can look hot. But they are like potato chips, you can't have but one or two, you've got to have dozens. Then they look like shit.

I got a tattoo when I was 15.. young.. slightly delusional. I'm not ashamed of it and I like it, I just wish I put more thought into it. Oh well. If it truly MEANS something - then more power to you and I find it interesting. However, if you just got it done for the sake of getting it done, then.. why?

My favorites are people who get their lover's name tattooed on their body and then break up with the lover. Some of the "corrections" are funny. Not to mention what the next partner thinks of it.

I have one, on my right arm/shoulder, which I got recently and which I am very chuffed with. I'd been drawing it on myself since I was 17 and started to play the guitar - it's the logo of the Epiphone guitar company, and not a Euro. Epi has been around since 1910. Yes, I am a walking billboard. Yes, I own an Epi, a red one so it's extra loud - and I finally got around to getting it done.

So there. :p

"sometimes"/often LESS is MORE!

Remember, NOTHING should be done in the passion of the moment; especially when out drinking with the fellas/friends or on vacation and drinking spirits...

The body is such a beautiful canvas on which to paint; but dammit be very, very sure of your choice(s) of permanent/indelible ink!

**To me, I think one should ONLY put tats where they may be covered up...with clothing so that you look perfectly "normal" when dressed; but otherwise tattooed when you want to have the look!(*8*) (*8*)

Don't like needles so I would never get a tattoo

sometimes it looks hot ... on a hot guy ...
maybe get a temporary one ... they're so permanent ...

I only ever got into one discussion with another man about tatoos. It was my dad and he was on his death bed. It was a serious chat. We talked about four things. That was DAD.
Not first, but one of them was when he pointed to his tatooes and said most of my life I would liked not to have them. They say to others things that might only be important last night. And then he fixed his gaze on me and said, "Promise me you will never get any tatooes. I said, "OK, I promise." I made four promises that day. The first was to never smoke. He was dying of lung cancer and had been a chain smoker. Tatooes, a personal choice, but I have always thought my Dad's reflection was really helpful. Two of my three children, one being my daughter have one or two tatooes. I am not put off. I hope that they do not feel like my Dad, that they would like to remove them. It can be done. It is also, (1) painful, and (2) expensive and doesn't really work all that well.

Tattoo on sexy body is sexy. Tattoo on ugly body is ugly. It is body not tattoo that matter.
