Why do some YouTube videos on JUB say 'embedding disabled on request'?

Some will play on JUB when you post them, and some will not.

Is there any way to tell before you post a video whether it'll work or not?
 
In the video info box on the right side of or below the video there is some "embedd" code .. if this is missing, the video has embedding disabled.
 
Thanks Corny! I can spot the ones that'll play now......

I've found a YouTube code for an identical video that's not embedded, unfortunately, JUB now isn't letting me edit my own post!

Or I could send a new post and delete the old one, however, JUB isn't letting me delete my own post either!

Any solutions?
 
use the "report post" button and say what change you want :)

"Embedding" basically just meaning allowing the window to the Youtube itself directly within a post. You might see posts with a still image of the video and controls below it so you can view it right here at JUB without leaving to visit Youtube.

A non-embed would be the window not viewable and clickable from message boards without visiting the URL directly - these would be linked to by just providing a link in the text instead.
