As I've written on the message boards my partner (Tony) and I have been together for almost 3 years now. We've recently talked about expanding our circle of friends (mostly straight couples!) but it seems so difficult for us to meet other similar minded gay couples.

We are totally monogamous, and not looking for anything sexual with another couple, but it seems the only people interested in us are interested for the wrong reason.

At first glace, we seem like an odd couple, I'm fat, he's thin, I'm old(er), he's young, I'm Hispanic, He's Asian. Tony comes from a wealthy/well to do family, and I come from a very poor/lower class family, he is a CPA with an MBA from Harvard, and I am a high school grad, and the differences go on and on. The important thing is that Tony and I are so compatible on so many different levels, physically :sex: , emotionally (*8*) , intellectually ..| , and just about every possible way.

What's the problem? There's no real problem, but it just seems to me that there should be some way for us to meet like minded gay couples who would be interested in socializing with us, but I'll be damned if I can find them!

The few couples that we have met at venues like Girth and Mirth events, and Planet Big, seem only interested in swapping partners. I did find a couples club online that seemed to have some social events that we might like to attend, but so far the dates and times don't fit our busy schedule.

Tony is New York for two months working on a special project for his company, but after he comes back maybe we'll try the http://www.sfcouples.com/ and see how they are, and if they are accepting of us as a couple. This is a long term project for me, so as things develop I'll post them here.
