Chia pet is a novelty item that people buy for mostly laughs. I thought it was funny they have a Willie Nelson Chia Pet. Famous singer.

Chia Pets are American styled terracotta figurines used to sprout chia, where the chia sprouts grow within a couple of weeks to resemble the animal's fur or hair.[1][2] Moistened chia seeds (Salvia hispanica) are applied to a grooved terracotta figurine

They are made into a paste and spread into grooves on terra cotta forms, and then grown to comic effect, replicating hair, etc.

I think the microgreens are edible too. The seeds are a food fad right now. Not sure if they're a so-called superfood or not.
