So I bought a wireless router the other day and I installed it yesturday. Everything was working fine until about 7:30. I was on my playstaion 3 online and all the sudden it kicked me out. Saying I didn't have any connection. My phone did the same thing.
Thething is that when I check the signal strenght it shows at 90-100%
so I don't know what's the deal. Oh yeah the playstation said dsn error but idk
any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks

I had a simillar connection problem once.
I had a strong signal but no internet connectivity.......
The router tech had me NAME my connection.......and that was that.
I'll never understand that but since then I've named my wireless connections and not had any problems.

I called but that didn't really help
so I just restored everything to default settings and it's working fine now

I wish everyone would take time to post back....... :-)

Especially if they look like your avatar.......

It's been working fine. I didn't put any security instead I made it invisible so no one could detect it unless they type in the name of the network. But thanks once again

^ this is not secure. I can "crack" that in a matter of seconds.

^ ok .. that's a matter of ~2 minutes then  :)

But that is not the point. One of those people who can might pass your house and register your network. Return later (or stay directly), laugh at the "security" log in, and so something illegal.
Now the cops are standing in front of your door and you have to prove them that it wasn't you - good luck.

I had a DMCA violation letter because someone was uploading a metriod game as a torrent. Thing is, I don't even have a Wii and didn't have any torrent software. Someone hacked into my wireless. Felt violated, and not in a good way.

I guess I could try to put it again. And see if it works again.
