Would I have much success meeting androgynous looking guys at gay clubs?

I'm 45 and bi-curious but I have a very specific type of guy and unfortunately they seem a little hard to find. I'm very new at this, I've tried Grindr and as you'd expect they're few & far between. I've gone to a couple of gay clubs, but only to see a drag queen show (I told you I like androgynous guys LOL), never even played with the idea that anyone there would be interested in me. I've suffered from depression (Bipolar 2) and low self-confidence for most of my life, plus the antidepressants I'm on put weight on me, so until recently never would even bother trying to meet anyone. And I was focused on seeing whatever drag queen I was there to see, so I didn't really pay attention to what kind of guys were there. I'm phil_0673 on Instagram. I know I look more like a bear, but since I'm not looking for bears I wasn't sure whether to call myself a bear LOL Do you think any androgynous guys would be interested in me? What kind of success do you think I'd have? Thanks.

A lot. Get out there and do it. Believe in yourself and if they don't like you, fuck em.

I would say to go with an ad, maybe doublelist, when you are looking for something specific. And if what you are looking for is not realistic, better to come to terms and accept that than be depressed about it. I happen to like 18 year old cute twinks which was always difficult but have to accept that those days are gone.

Of course! No one can determine what others like without getting to know them.

Clubs are dicey, since there's so much emphasis on 'The LOOK.' (Which means muscles, which is not the ONLY look, but so many guys are slaves to that whole concept.)

Put out an ad. Describe yourself (what you look like). List your height, weight, whether you have body hair, beard, mustache, eye color. THE WORKS, OK?? That's the best shot at getting what you want. You skimp on details, you lose.

THEN: Describe who you want to meet: "An androgynous guy." If you have a height preference (say, you don't want him taller than you, or something like that) LIST IT. Again, don't skimp. Guys are not great - if they have esteem issues - about asking for what they think is "too much." But then, they don't get who they'll be attracted to, and they give up.

THEN: Post. Wait. It's not hard to do, Guy. Good Luck.
