  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Would you date a clone of yourself?

In their own subtle and not-so-subtle ways, carbon copies, photocopies JPG's and screen shots all alter the original image.

True.

Which raises this thought: while we talk about this hypothetical clone being a perfect copy, is it not likely that a human cloning machine will alter the clone, at least slightly?

I would not be attracted to my "today" self...even when I was young I wouldn't be attracted to myself...however I was horny enough that I would be willing to experiment and try new things that I haven't done before. Even though I've always been shy and not very trusting, I would trust my clone to mess around with.

Myself, I think I would be elated to finally meet someone with the same interests and mindset that I have, both in bed and otherwise, that I could see myself forming an intense bond with my clone. We'd probably spend hours passionately discussing topics of interest to both of us.

If I had a clone, we would both have the same interests and desires, right? If so, he would love to get sucked and to suck dick as much as me. We would wind up in a long lasting 69!

Exactly the same here. Except that I want the clone I date to have fair hair and blue eyes.

colored contact lenses and a little hair bleach would take care of that.

True. But then, if the clone is my age, his hair will be as white as mine is anyway. And if he's a clone, like me he will have grown his first white hair at age 10 and be visibly graying by 25. At least the hair will be plentiful and thick.

From an interview with Barbra Streisand in the latest Vanity Fair, in which she talks about her dogs, which are clones of previous ones:

"On cloning, a topic on which precious few people can offer testimonials, she notes, 'You can clone the look of a dog but you can’t clone the soul.' To clarify, she doesn’t regard that as a bad thing."
