I don't know what it is about this game but something needs to be done. I find my self play more and more as the days go by. I took a year long break about a moth ago and now i heat is back on. Obviously blizzard has done something right. Even through the endless grinds and complaints people are still flocking to this damn game like flys! Anybody else here a Wow addict!
 
i have been playing since release and i have a 68 hunter right now. I am pretty much in control of my need to play and I actually havent even clicked the icon in about a month. every once in a while ill go on a WoW binge though and play for embarassing amounts of time in one go.
 
been on a binge of WoW myself...taking a break right now from it though. have a lvl 65 Human warrior the game is way addictive. I fear a WoWverdose coming on..;)
 
They have definitely mastered the use of the "inconsistent reward" principle. It helps when you are at a level where there are plenty of quests to help level...I like being able to just jump on and do one or two, tho sometimes I will put music on and spend 1-2 weekend hours grinding before I know it :)
 
I've never played it but I've heard all these things about it, It sounds fun but I don't know...........
 
My other half has played them all. He played Star Wars Galaxies for about 2 years until the f****d that game up. Then he played Dungeons and Dragons for about a year. He went as far as you could in that game. The he did WOW for about another year. Now he is into Lord of the Rings. If only I could find someone to pay him to play.

What stero-type ? Iunno but this may sound way nerdy, and if it was not for the internet i would never say this but.... Those B Elf male character models are good looking. Ok, im embarised now *runs*.
 
All my friends figured I'd be a blood elf because they're pretty, and since I'm the only non-hetero in the group, they figured I was going to roll blood elf, lol.

I play Horde. My favorite pasttime is taking an over-40 character to Redridge Mountains and ganking all those alliance noobcakes.

Despite the name, you don't have to be a "bear" to hang out and there is a good mix agewise. The biggest gay guilds are supposed to be on Proudmoore and Garona but the queues were terrible whenever I tried to get on there. Maybe that's improved since they did invest a lot in server quality before the expansion went live. They have mentioned guilds on PvP servers too if that is your thing.

I have 3 60s (and 4 other midlevel) Horde on Baelgun. The warrior has Crusader and 300+ enchanting and the rogue has 300+ alchemy. I put some enchants on level 5 whites that I lend to friends to twink them when they want to try that server...then they send them back to my bank when they outgrow them since whites don't soulbind.

I did get two Alliance as far as the 40s on Durotan (sp?) a while ago but that was just because my previous manager played Alliance...since I don't work for him anymore those have been gathering dust :)

PS Arggghh I hate Fel Reavers! Hate hate hate!! LOL

Here is that strange thing about me. believe it or not im wayyy more gayer when im in wow than anywhere else, even here. I am offensively gay. Lol everybody knows this too, and most just ignor me some join in, its very mixed. The guys in vent mostly just laugh at it. But a mass majority of them have no problem with me saying "I wanna fuck your brother in the ass" at all.

Yeah. It's funny, but some of the really long rep grindings/farming/quest lines actually seem to keep people in the game. They complain about it, but it also creates a sort of solidarity between the players undergoing the ordeal. Complaining is still something that contributes to chat, so that promotes the social aspect of the game that keeps people in. kind of like pledges bonding during frat initiation? LOL
