(Trump is suing them for $500 million.) NBC jumped as well and is even figuring out a way to bring back Celebrity Apprentice for another season sans The Donald. (Can you say "You're fired"? I knew you could.)

Flo Rida won't be performing in the Miss UAS pageant, and the 2 hosts have bowed out as well. And Macy's is distancing itself from Trump as well.

To paraphrase some random pundit I saw on TV directly after they called the election for Obama in 2012, "what the GOP needs to learn is that when you build a lot of your platform around trying to make certain groups of people miserable and persecute them, strangely, those people don't want to vote for you."

Of course, instead of addressing this disconnect with the modern American electorate, Republicans seem to be content instead to start making up conspiracy theories about how Democrats smuggle Latinos into the country in droves to "create" Democratic voters. Hence all the renewed efforts at voter suppression on the drawing boards. Donald is getting enormous public and financial backlash, but the truth is, I don't think he's actually saying much that most conservative voters don't more or less secretly think. (Insert: "omg, PC thought police, we can't call a spade a spade..")

Same thing happens up here. For years, Harper (prime minister) has been misquoting Justin Trudeau (Liberal leader) for years with that same old misquote: "The budget will balance itself."

Yes, Justin said that, but the Conservatives leave out a majority of the actual quote:

Trump has a private jet (a Boeing 757) worth $100 million. There is enough 24-caret gold inside to cover an entire Greyhound bus. He's a man who is used to getting what he wants when he wants it. I don't think he would change much if he became president.
