The performance was better then the horrid Today show. Glad to see she's getting better at the stage, and with performing. If only she coulda sang like that during AI... things might been diffrent.
 
I find it so funny that you're complaining about the thread, yet you still gladly spent your precious time not only entering it, but typing up a reply.

And uhm, excuse me? Things might've been different? Well if that's the case then she better be GLAD she sang the way she did on AI because who knows if she would've gotten her role in Dreamgirls which is making her a bigger star than the duck-voiced fugly girl that won. Fantasia's CD just flopped harder than "Low" and "The Trouble With Love", and Jennifer is racking up award after award, and is on her way to the Oscars.

Thanks for posting the link, Dave is on after our bedtime.
But I have got to stop comparing her to Jennifer Holliday and just enjoy her as she is. All the grooming from Idol certainly made her a lot more poised in the interview than most new folks are. And that's the kind of interview where Dave just shines.

Fantasia haters never cease to amaze me. It isn't enough to just not be thrilled with her voice, you also must attack her image as well. It's just plain ignorant, and comparing Fantasia'a success to that of Jennifer Hudson's is also wrong-headed. Fantasia has sold millions of albums, had #1 singles, and a host of music accolades...of course she isn't getting the attention the wonderful Ms. Hudson is getting, it's not the road to the Oscars for 'Tasia! Jennifer deserves every award she receives, but to compare her film career to that of Fantasia's music career is unfair.

Haha you're funny... even if you're not trying to be. Fantasia is just frankly not suceeding. You don't see her anywhere. You don't here her songs. No one really cares about American Idols after the year is up, with the exception of Kelly.
 
Jennifer had to audition for her role, her AI run had nothing to do with it...

And by "turn out diffrent"... I meant she might of not come in pathetic 7th place.

And I replied in this thread 'cause I can. Do you have a problem? And it's true what I said, it's annoying and compleatly stupid to make a thread for every single performance she sings, interview she gives, or pound she gains. Pleasse grow up, act mature and stop with the petty immature insults to other artsit. It does nothing but make you look pathetic.

I first posted in this thread to compliment Jennifer as which I did... she's growing as a performer, she learning, she's getting better!

But I, along with others pointed out that this is the 3564667526353 thread about Jennifer. I'm sorry but I find that annoying. I don't know how this board runs, but I'm accustom to others that don't allow spaming and double threads filling up the pages... but if this board is diffrent and allows that, nevermind me! :D

Well, that helps -- but the fact that it's an utterly hideous pic of that Clarkson shrew mid-shriek is what does it for me.
 
Well I think American Idol DID help Jennifer because the casting directors recognized her talent and ASKED her to audition. Not just anybody gets to audition for a big Hollywood movie.

Maybe you ought to watch BET sometime (where her new video 'Hood Boy' is in heavy rotation). Or maybe you ought to listen to your local black radio stations (where 'Hood Boy' and previous 'Tasia hits are still playing). Or how about watching some non-lilly white awards (and honors) shows and you'll find Fantasia present (try watching BET's upcoming 'Celebration of Gospel')...Did you happen to catch Fantasia's TV movie on Lifetime? You know the one that was second most-watched in Lifetime history...
just because the lilly-white-Carrie Underwood loving crowd doesn't vote her into TRL doesn't mean the woman is not suceeding.

I swear some folks just revel in hating on others...it's rather pathetic.
