  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Writing on the wall, i mean underwear

It could be the guy who lives in the same dorm who also posts here.

You know this is the 3rd time you have made reference to my personal information, although the other 2 times were more location specific. My friend said he reported it the first time you did it but has gotton back no word from the administrator.

As a moderator im sure you are privy to certain personal information from every member of JUB however there is a code of conduct for moderators as there is a code of conduct for members.

Blasting my personal information in the forums is wrong/unethical and goes againt the rules.

I first thought maybe you were sincere in your response but then i figured if you were really sincere instead of typing my personal information in the public forums you would have sent me a PM instead you stated my location at the time and even went further to suggest "that another member on the board is at the same location and that he is probably gay too because of some of his postings?"

You cant inadvertently "out" another member of JUB no matter how discreetly you think it is.

Like i said a moderaor is privy to certain information but when the moderator takes that information and puts it on a public forum thats were i took issue.

Yes being a member if JUB is a privallage not a right but at the same time i can see no justification for you stating my personal information 3 times on this board and you keep on doing it..

The very day i found out that you used my personal information in responding in a forum was the day i did what i did. I would not have done what i did had it not been for the misuse of my personal information so i would just like to say that had my personal information not been put on blast i would not even have thought about doing what i had done, but that freaked me out and i felt i had to be protected so that i am not put on public blast in the future.

The first reason that comes to mind is "force of habit." I always had my name in my underwear when I went to camp in the summer, it was required. And of course the name stayed there when I got back from camp, so most of my underwear throughout my teen years had my name written in laundry-pen on the inside of the band.

Boarding school, the military, and college dorm living can also put one in the habit of labeling one's underwear. I mean, underwear is so lookalike, and you certainly don't want your panties getting mixed up with some other guys panties. And it's still very useful, if you use shared laundry facilities such as laundromats and large apartment buildings and college dorms, or send your laundry out to a professional service, to have your name inscribed inside so your unmentionables don't go astray.

Honestly, it's very common. You just haven't seen it before.

This is probably the most honest and correct answer to your thread. As a child, my name was sewn in for sports and camp. Don't do the undies anymore, but at my last job I had my name in all my company jackets. We had to pay for them and many others had the same style. Nothing weird about this. Don't waste your time fretting over it.

You haven't really told us much about your "friend" - so we're all kind of shooting in the dark here...

He may live with other roommates and has written his name in his underwear to avoid getting them mixed up with his roommates, especially since most underwear looks the same. It makes wash-day a little less complicated...

No i already knew his name and besides during the love making process he occasionally asked

"Whats my name, whats my name" and i told him what his name was, so thats not it. Maybe i'll just ask because its really bugging me and it was a nice pair of boxers too and now they are tarnished with his marker writings.

Maybe the name is not his, but that of a conquest. Will your name go on the underwear next? Kind of like notches on a gun.

OK.. does ANYONE believe anything that comes out of this guys.. um.. posts?

I believe everything I read unless it's coming out of Elvin's mouth. That guy is a liar. :p

SURE.....why not? .... just because he asks wierd and sometimes (just an opinion) juvenile questions?

because he posts a lot of similar nonsensical threads?

because he boasts of flirtations or affairs with straight guys?

what is it that you find problematic with newboy's posts?

if i were to judge any JUBber here by the nonsensical content of his threads or postings.....FEW here (myself included) would merit much "belief".....

why don't you and others who always diss this guy just take a pass on his threads or postings...LIKE YOU'VE ADVISED OTHERS TO DO IN THE PAST when they don't care for a poster's words....or put him on ignore....

and stop being so damn judgemental.......newboy is just having fun....like the rest of us SHOULD BE...

IF YOU'RE SO DAMN SMART....WHY AIN'T YOU RICH?

JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION.....
