XP Sucks

I'm a gamer and until Microsoft can come up with a way to make Vista not suck for gaming, I'm sticking to XP.

I don't mean to start a war here, but this is an interesting rant. Because I feel exactly the same way about Windows, generally. Every time I have to leave Linux and use some Windows machine, it seems so awkward and slow and backward to me.

I don't want to start another war here too. Just my opinion, if Linux is that good and excellent, why do you want to use Windows then? :gogirl: [rhetorical question]

To each his own.

p/s: to clean most of the crap out from Windows, I don't have to re-install Windows, that's a pain. I use CrapCleaner [self-explanatory] It's free and it works well for me. Clean with a few click or you can schedule it if you want and it's very fast. My computer is still in a good shape after a year of abusive usage :( [I try a lot of thing on my computer :D].

Who said I want to use Windows? I do support for people who use Windows, so I have no choice but to look at their machines when Windows breaks down, which it does a lot.

If there was any way to help these people out without using their Windows, trust me, I would be there already

Sorry, my bad. I put the question the wrong way.
"Why do you use Windows then?" [again, rhetorical question ;)]

I have two computers, of which one runs XP Professional and the other runs Vista Home Basic edition, and of the two, I prefer using the computer that has XP installed on it. I bought an e-Machine in February of this year that had the abovementioned version of Vista on it, and I have found it to be a big pain in the neck because of all the stuff that has been added and more annoying security features than for what it was worth, even if it did have Vista installed on it. I also found out that when I took a look at the settings in the BIOS, that Intel had installed their "Intel Integrator Tookit", and it said that the toolkit had modified the BIOS in the machine, when I had tried to install XP on the machine, it wouldn't let me do so. Which brings me to ask if it is possible to "re-flash" the BIOS to an earlier version so that XP Pro can be installed on the machine. Is it possible to do so? Because if it can be done, I'd be glad to get rid of Vista for once and for all.
